CHEF RAY J. FRANKLIN will describe himself as an easy-going heart felt individual that loves to treat the tastebuds with his culinary magic. Believe it or not, cooking was never an interest for Chef Ray, but somehow he would find himself in the kitchen.

Food began to spark his interest in his middle school years where he excelled in home economics class. Born in the small southern town of Bainbridge, GA - but raised in the urban city of Newark, NJ - he has been exposed to many cooking techniques. From working in fish markets, delis, cafés, bistros and French restaurants, to creating his own business entitled The Chef’s Chef Catering, he feels he is now ready to capture the taste buds of the world. Remaining humble and realizing that there is so much more to learn he is ready and willing to become one of the world’s greatest Chefs. Chef Ray believes that every meal should be an occasion.

As someone who possesses a real passion for great food he refuses to accept second best. His goal is to serve as a role model to junior staff by demonstrating appropriate behavior towards all work related matters. By having extensive supervisory experience in a reputable establishment, and the ability to flourish in a busy fast paced environment, he is able to maintain the highest culinary standards even when under severe pressure. In addition to his extremely well-tuned palette Chef Ray possesses the imagination and courage to explore, experiment and introduce new culinary feats with complete confidence, and respond positively to any challenges.

Plated Dinner Service

Many hosts fear that an Intimate Dinner Party will have them cornered in the kitchen all night while their guests congregate elsewhere without them. The exact opposite can be true. Reception Style Parties

Food stations are set up on long tables where guests can walk along and serve themselves. Another option is to have servers stationed behind the buffet table serving each dish. A buffet-style reception is usually considered the most casual style of meal service.

We’ll custom-design a menu with you that will rival any area restaurant and leave you and your significant other knowing that you have enjoyed the best dinner experience possible at home.
